healthy food

A proper diet ensures health, well-being and proper weight. It’s the same with beautiful and healthy teeth.

It is important to remember that the diet of a pregnant woman affects not only her teeth and gum health but also that food for healthy teeth can help improve the state of her child’s teeth.

Sugar is the enemy of teeth. It is a great medium for acids which damage enamel and lead to tooth cavities. That is why sweet and sticky products such as jellies or fudge are absolutely forbidden! And if you really feel like eating them… eat them only once a week and after a proper meal to have a chance to brush your teeth after eating. If you don’t have toothpaste and a toothbrush, rinse your mouth. It will stimulate the production of saliva which will help avoid the harmful low pH and help keep teeth healthy.

Calcium-Rich-Food

To have healthy teeth, eat yogurts, buttermilk and cheese, canned fish and smoked fish. It is also good to eat leguminous vegetables, dried figs, poppy and sesame seeds, and oily fish. This is food for healthy teeth because all of them contain calcium. Teeth are bones and the main teeth building substance is calcium. It is responsible for strong enamel.
